About us

It all starts with the broth

We make it from scratch every day: whole chickens and beef bones, simmered with goji berries, jujubes, black cardamom, ginseng and more. It's worth a sip on its own before the first slice goes in.

Lamb, beef and chicken arrive fresh every day, and every slice is cut in our own kitchen. Thin and tender, with the grain clear to see.

Premium Lamb Shoulder Slices and Lamb Fillet Slices? Must-try. Feeling indulgent? Go Deluxe, and the wagyu just keeps coming.

From the grasslands to the world

Happy Lamb's roots are in Baotou, in China's Inner Mongolia, where the grasslands meet the hills. The first Happy Lamb opened in Boston in 2016.

Today there are more than 100 Happy Lamb restaurants in over 90 cities across more than 10 countries. Whatever the city, each one makes its broth fresh every day, in exactly the same way. Ours opened on Exhibition Street in 2019.
